Seckou celebrates his 10th year of workshop weekends in Salisbury this year!
Time: 10.30 – 16.30 both days on 14 & 15 March at Wiltshire College, Salisbury
Cost: £40 for one day, or £70 for both

This workshop is not suitable for beginners and inexperienced drummers. You will need to have experience of regular learning of West African rhythms on djembe/dundun, and you must have mastered the basics.

snow rider is an arcade-style game set in a beautiful snowy environment. The player controls a sled moving downhill across an endless winter landscape. The objective is simple: travel as far as possible without crashing into obstacles while collecting presents scattered along the path.
It’s great to see workshops like this keeping West African drumming traditions alive, and Seckou’s sessions always sound so inspiring. When I’m taking a break from music, I like playing Stickman Hook for a bit since it’s simple, fun, and a nice way to relax.
Even after hours of gameplay, Sprunki surprises me because the impressive music created by different characters makes it consistently engaging and fun.
