The workshop will take place in Ziguinchor, the capital of Casamance. It is the second city of Senegal and also the birth place of Seckou Keita. Labelled the most cosmopolitan city in Senegal, Ziguinchor is a melting pot of all the ethnic

groups co-existing in Senegal.

The workshop party will also travel to the beautiful island of Carabane. Located in the mouth of the Casamance River, Carabane is an off-shore island village with 700 year round inhabitants. As the entry point of French rule in the Casamance Region of Senegal, and a classic mangrove

ecosystem, Carabane is a natural ecotourist destination.

What the package includes:

• 3 hours daily tuition from 7 to 19February
• Standard accommodation on a shared basis
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Transport to and from Banjul airport on 6 and 20 February
• 4 days excursion in Carabane Island
• Your trip’s Carbon emissions offset

What it does not include:

• Flights
• Travel insurance
• Drinks
• Any personal expenses

What will happen next?

Your booking will be confirmed by email or phone call and you will receive some information and tips on how to organise your trip (flights, health advice, draft schedule). You will also need to fill a questionnaire so we can be prepared for any special requirement you may need. Then one month before the trip you will receive a final schedule with all your contact details.

To guarantee your booking, we need a non refundable deposit of £200 per person

Please note that all deposits are non-refundable.

If you have paid the remaining of the balance and wish to cancel:

We will pay 100% of the remaining fee for cancellation made until 15 November 2008.

We will pay 50% of the remaining fee for cancellation made until 31 December 2008.

We will pay 25% of the remaining fee for cancellation made until 11 February 2009.
